Limousin weanling sold for €803

Marts: A top price of €803 was paid for the champion continental bull weanling at the Annual Weanling Show and Sale at Skibbereen Mart yesterday.

The 340kg Limousin bull, which sold for the highest price paid at the sale, was exhibited by Pat Leonard, Baltimore, Skibbereen who had a good day out showing three of the six award-winning weanlings at the show.

The bull won the champion male of the show, with his breeder also showing the winner of third prize in the male weanling section and the third-prize winner in the heifer section.
