Dale Farm acquires Superchill

DALE FARM, the Northern Irish ice cream and dairy business, has expanded its interests in the Republic via the acquisition of ice cream distribution business, Superchill for an undisclosed sum.

Superchill has bases in Letterkenny and Galway and is a subsidiary of Breo Foods. The business acts as distributor around the north-west of the country for Dale Farm, Cadbury, Mars, Nestle and Haagen Dazs.

Superchill employs six people and has an annual turnover of over €1m.
