Severstal to buy Celtic stake

RUSSIA’S leading steel producer Severstal has said it will buy a 22% stake in the Irish-registered gold prospecter Celtic Resources.

Severstal’s mining branch, Severstal Resurs, will purchase 12.3 million ordinary shares in Celtic from the Aton International group for an undisclosed sum, the company said.
