BCI gives details of funding round

THE Broadcasting Commission of Ireland announced details of the fifth funding round of Sound & Vision yesterday, the broadcasting funding scheme for radio.

It is now inviting applications from programme makers for funding for new radio programmes dealing with Irish culture, heritage and experience.

Four previous rounds of Sound & Vision have allocated a total of just over €3m for radio since the scheme’s inception.
