McCambridge buys Inter Link Foods

SPECIALITY bread maker McCambridge has completed the acquisition of Inter Link Foods in a deal believed to be worth €110 million.

The deal however will see the loss of 180 jobs at British-based Inter Link but the announcement ends months of uncertainty over the future of its operations and workforce.

Inter Link’s businesses will continue to trade under their own brand names but the new enlarged group will trade under the McCambridge Group name, which is now in the third generation of family ownership.
