THE ISEQ returned to its recent negative form following Monday’s reprieve. The Irish exchange closed down 37.05 to 9,152.77.

Financials were again among the main losers. AIB fell 18c to €20.27 following sharp falls in the share price of its Polish subsidiary BZWBK on Monday.Bank of Ireland was 5c weaker at €15. Anglo-Irish dropped 12c to €14.68, while Irish Life & Permanent eased 6c to €18.24.
