Etihad to open China routes

ETIHAD, the United Arab Emirates’ national carrier, will begin flights to China next year as it adds routes to create a hub in Abu Dhabi between Asia, Europe and the US.

Etihad will start service in the first quarter next year, most likely to Shanghai, chief executive James Hogan said in an interview in Dublin, where the airline opened its 43rd route.
