THE ISEQ Index suffered significant losses yesterday with the financial stocks driving the market lower.

The Dublin Exchange closed down 163.33 points to 9,501.92.

Leading banks AIB and Bank of Ireland shed 62c and 43c to €21.15 and €15.50 respectively. Anglo-Irish was another notable loser dropping 38c to €15.55 with over 7.2 million shares traded. &
