Ireland scrapes into broadband top 50 list

IRELAND has only just about clinched a place in a list of the world’s top 50 largest broadband countries.

They did however fare much better when it came to household penetration; earning 26th place.

This is according to the most recent data from London-based Point Topic’s Global Broadband Statistics which showed that almost 300 million people worldwide are now accessing the internet using broadband connections.
