Veris chief steps down due to illness

FACILITIES management company Veris said yesterday that chief executive Ross Ivers is stepping down due to illness.

The board of Veris thanked Mr Ivers, the former finance director of bookmaker Paddy Power, for his contribution to the business and said he will remain as a non-executive director.

Chairman Niall McFadden has assumed Mr Ivers’ responsibility on a temporary basis.
