Conference to look at corporate assets

Ireland’s first conference looking at releasing the value of corporate property assets takes place on Thursday at Dublin’s Burlington Hotel.

Conference to look at corporate assets

The half-day conference — to be chaired by Dermot Reilly of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ retail estate group — will look at the value of things like the actual land a business sits on, the industrial or manufacturing facility that houses its operations, the retail units owned, the landbank occupied by a golf or sports clubs, and how they could be worth a great deal if released for property development.

Speakers include Peter Waller of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald; Timothy O’Rahilly, partner with Real Estate Group; Brendan Sheridan of the Pierse Group and David Renwick, head of Real Estate Finance-Ireland at AIB Corporate Banking.
