Single farm applications due
IFA president Padraig Walshe said 135,000 farmers will make an application to the Department of Agriculture and Food under the scheme.
“For the vast majority of farmers, the SFP application is the most important piece of paperwork that has to be completed, as it represents a major proportion of farm income,” he said.
Mr Walshe said farmers should carefully check all the pre-printed details on the 2007 application. If any of the details are incorrect, the applicant should put a line through them and write in the correct details.
