Single farm applications due

FARMERS have been reminded to submit their single farm payment application before this coming Friday’s closing date deadline.

IFA president Padraig Walshe said 135,000 farmers will make an application to the Department of Agriculture and Food under the scheme.

“For the vast majority of farmers, the SFP application is the most important piece of paperwork that has to be completed, as it represents a major proportion of farm income,” he said.
