Aer Lingus appoints board member

Aer Lingus has appointed Thomas Corcoran, senior adviser for US buyout firm Carlyle Group, to the company’s board of directors.

Mr Corcoran has extensive aviation industry experience Aer Lingus said yesterday. Mr Corcoran is also president of Corcoran Enterprises, a privately held management consultant.

He will join the Dublin-based airline’s board on May 4.
