HR boss dismissal hearing date set

The High Court will hear on June 19 next a case in which the group human resources director with Hibernian Group claims he is being dismissed under a “bogus reconstruction plan”.

HR boss dismissal hearing date set

Brian Dalton has claimed the recently appointed chief executive of Hibernian, Stuart Purdy, had used sexually offensive and obscene language to him and others and that Mr Purdy’s treatment of himself and others and “autocratic management style” were damaging to the company’s business.

His application for an injunction restraining his dismissal was before Ms Justice Mary Laffoy yesterday, but it was agreed the sides would instead apply for an early hearing date of the full action. They also agreed the company would continue paying Mr Dalton any emoluments due.
