Elan announces board members

Elan Corporation announced yesterday, Dr Floyd Bloom, a neuro- scientist, and Jeff Shames, a retired chairman and chief executive officer of MFS Investment Management (MFS), will become new non- executive members of the board, from July 1.

Elan’s chairman, Kyran McLaughlin said: “The board enthusiastically welcomes Dr Bloom and Mr Shames to the board. Their respective back- grounds in neuroscience and biotechnology as well as in global business management and finance will make them valued additions to the overall Board.”
