New book of veterinary medicines

A NEW compendium of veterinary medicines available to farmers has been published by the Animal and Plant Health Association (APHA).

The 700-page publication contains information on the full range of veterinary health products currently marketed by the major companies on the Irish market. It contains information on products for the equine and pet sectors, as well as food production.

APHA animal health division chairman Edmond Wall said the compendium is an important reference source for veterinary practitioners, pharmacists and other animal health professionals and as well as for farmers and students.
