Gold medals for Irish whiskeys

DIAGEO’S products, Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Baileys Original Cream Liqueur both picked up awards at the world renowned 7th annual San Francisco world spirits competition.

Under the Irish Whiskey category, Bushmills received two double gold medals for Black Bush Irish Whiskey and Bushmills Malt 16-year-old Irish Whiskey.

A double gold is only given when all of the judges each award the drink a gold star. Also the Bushmills 10-year-old single malt and 21-year-old single malt received a gold medal each.

Baileys Original Cream Liqueur received a gold medal and both of its new flavour variants Baileys Mint Chocolate and Caramel were awarded silver medals.
