Roscommon Herald opens new offices

A new chapter in the history of one of the country’s leading regional newspapers, the Roscommon Herald, has opened with a €2.5m investment in its Boyle offices.

The anchor tenant of the 13,000 sq ft Herald Building, the Herald occupies 4,200 sq ft of refurbished open plan offices.

Since joining the Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCH) group in March 2004 the paper has brought forward its publication day to Tuesday, shown a 2.7% increase in circulation in the latest ABC results.

Speaking at the opening, TCH group managing director Anthony Dinan, praised the Herald for it’s initiative and said that in the past couple of years the group had been gradually modernising the business in which it operated, providing better facilities for its staff.
