PLANS were unveiled yesterday for a conference where business gurus from a wide variety of disciplines will address transition year students from across Leinster.

Transition year students at Terenure College in Dublin are organising this half-day conference, which is expected to attract over 800 TYP students.

It is set to take place on Friday March 9th at Croke Park, Dublin from 10am to 2.30pm.

The seminar titled, “Leaders on our Level”, will be addressed by entrepreneurs and business leaders, including rower Mark Pollock who suddenly lost his sight, chairman of O’Brien’s Sandwich Bars Brody Sweeney, chief executive of Special Olympics Ireland Mary Davis, president of chambers Ireland David Pearce, The School of Sales boss Vanessa Tierney and Microsoft Ireland’s Paul Mason.
