New headquarters for Bord Bia

A SITE has been identified In Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, for the establishment of a new headquarters for Bord Bia.

It is understood acquisition terms have been agreed by the Office of Public Works and that the final steps of the process are in train.

However, Agriculture and Food Minister Mary Coughlan told Fine Gael TD Phil Hogan, in reply to a Dáil question, that Bord Bia is not one of the organisations that have been given early mover status and that a precise time frame has not been established.
