Kedco receives pellet shipment

A shipment of 2,500 tonnes of wood pellets arrived at Cork Harbour yesterday for Irish biofuel company Kedco.

The company has committed to a 100% guarantee to supply wood pellets to all customers, when they install a boiler or wood pellet stove with Kedco.

More than 4,500 applications were made last year following the introduction of the Green Energy incentive by the Department of Marine, Energy & Natural Resources.
