O’Driscoll appointed chairman of SWS

Eoin O’Driscoll has been appointed non-executive chairman of diversified services and infrastructure group SWS.

Mr O’Driscoll is managing director of Aderra and formerly a senior vice president with Lucent Technologies. He is also chairman of Forfás and chairman of ENET.

SWS deals in renewable energy and business process outsourcing and was recently acquired by Ion Equity, the Irish investment group headed by Neil O’Leary, in a deal valued at €110 million.
