LIT reveals detailsof safety awards

DETAILS of the 16th All-Ireland Safety Awards were announced last night at Limerick Institute of Technology by John O’Shaughnessy, the president of the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) and Jim Lyons, chairperson of the Health and Safety Authority.

The awards, run jointly by NISO and the Northern Ireland Safety Group, recognises companies and individuals implementing and promoting best practice in workplace health and safety.
