Bioverda backs bio-fuel obligations

BIOVERDA yesterday welcomed the announcement by Communications Marine and Natural Resources Minister Noel Dempsey, that he is introducing a biofuel obligation which will ensure that biofuel represents 5.75% of Ireland’s transport fuel market by 2009.

John Mullins, chief executive said: ”This announcement will be welcomed by all involved in the sector, as it effectively heralds the launch of an alternative market in transport fuel in Ireland.”
