Farmers gather for €320m farm machinery industry expo

THE €320 million farm machinery industry is in buoyant mood as it braces itself for a three-day shop-window exhibition.

An estimated €20m worth of hi-tech agri machinery will be on display at the Farm Machinery Show, beginning in Punchestown Event Centre in Naas, Co Kildare, tomorrow and continuing to Thursday.

It is being organised by the farm machinery industry through the Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) for farmers and agricultural contractors and is held biannually.
