Market bounces back after reverse

THE ISEQ Index returned to the black yesterday following Friday’s decline. The exchange finished the up 21.95 at 9,322.38.

Market bounces back after reverse

AIB rose 20c to €22.30 with 1.25 million shares traded. Bank of Ireland shed 13c to €17.52, Anglo-Irish gained €15.98 while Irish Life & Permanent dropped 5c to €20.85.

Drinks firm C&C continued its recent downward trend falling 46c to €11.14 while Paddy Power jumped 30c to €16.90. Iona Tech fell 12c to €4.14 despite a surge in profits resulting from increasing sales of its Artix product.
