Digicel launches TV service

DIGICEL launched Digicel Mobile TV service, powered by Dublin based Vimio in Jamaica this week.

The service was unveiled with a live demonstration at the Digicel sponsored Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.

The Caribbean company plans to expand its mobile TV offering across its network of 22 markets later this year in addition to including ‘made for mobile’ channels, which will feature regularly updated blocks of programming and live TV streaming.
