Live 95FM ‘wins licence’

UTV Radio Ireland’s Live 95FM has been awarded in principle a 10-year radio licence to broadcast to Limerick beating off competition from Heart FM.

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland awarded the licence to the station which has been broadcasting in the area since November 1997.

Last year the station had a market share of 53.7% according to JNLR mrbi figures. The new licence, is runs from October.
