Banking and construction dull trade

THE ISEQ Index suffered from losses in the banking and construction sectors losing 102.39 to 9,289.16.

AIB was 45c lower. Bank of Ireland dropped 25c to €17.15. Anglo Irish was 12c worse off at €15.78. Irish Life and Permanent was down 2c to €21.

Construction giant CRH weakened 60c and was €30 at the closing bell. Grafton Group declined 14c to €12.10. Kingspan Group was 14c lower at €19.85. McInerney was 10c higher at €15.20 bucking the trend.
