HMS Host tipped for airport contract

INTERNATIONAL airport catering supplier, HMS Host, is favourite to take over catering services at Shannon Airport if local management can agree a deal with trade unions.

Outsourcing of catering operations have been central to restructuring talks at the airport. Workers at Shannon have already rejected at €35m redundancy package and a previous outsourcing deal with French catering company Elior fell through.
