Lundin staff to meet with LRC

MANAGEMENT and workers from the Lundin zinc mine in Galmoy, Co Kilkenny, are to meet with the Labour Relations Commission next Tuesday.

The employees, who are members of SIPTU and TEEU, are seeking a pay rise above that agreed in the last national pay agreement.

Lundin claimed yesterday that the delay in reaching a pay settlement has negatively impacted on the production of concentrates at the mine.
