McCauley named exec-in-residence

THE first chief executive-in-residence at the Waterford School of Business has been named as pharmacist Sam McCauley.

It is the first higher education institution in the country to create such a role.

Director of Waterford Institute of Technology Prof Kieran Byrne said: “There is rightly a great emphasis within the School of Business and at our Centre for Entrepreneurship on engaging with professionals and entrepreneurs so that our graduates have a valuable mix of theoretical knowledge and real-world insight.”
