Readymix appoints new board member

THE board of Readymix said yesterday that Ignacio Ortiz has been appointed non-executive director and will join the Readymix board with immediate effect.

Mr Ortiz succeeds Fernando Gonzalez, who has resigned.

Mr Ortiz joined CEMEX in 1989 and held the positions of president of Panama, president of Spain and senior vice-president of CEMEX’s Asia Region.
