DAX declines

GERMAN stocks declined yesterday, led by ThyssenKrupp on speculation the outlook for the industry next year is clouding.

Hypo Real Estate and E.ON also fell.

The benchmark DAX Index fell 43.74, or 0.7% to 6,553.51 in Frankfurt. The HDAX Index of the country’s 110 biggest companies declined 0.8% to 3,373.33.
