130 jobs created at SWS outsourcing

SWS group has announced the creation of up to 130 jobs at its high growth Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Division.

The announcement of the 70 full-time and 60 part-time jobs coincided with the official opening of the group’s new 16,400 square foot BPO facility in Clonakilty, by the Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin.

SWS is currently for sale. The Irish Examiner will carry a special report on the sale on Monday.

The group’s BPO division provides a range of high value back office services to a number of Ireland’s largest organisations, including the Department of Agriculture and Food, Kerry Group, Bank of Ireland and the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. The continued expansion at SWS follows a number of prestigious new contract wins including Topaz Energy, An Bord Bia and The Belfast Telegraph.
