Anglo appoint company secretary

ANGLO IRISH BANK CORPORATION yesterday announced the appointment of a company secretary.

Ms Mercer joined the bank in 1999, prior to which she worked in financial services in Britain and Ireland.

Bernard Daly, company secretary and head of compliance, will retire from the group on February 2, 2007.
