60% would switch jobs for childcare

SIX out of 10 employees have said they would change jobs and take a 10%-20% pay cut to access childcare facilities.

This is according to a recruitireland.com survey which revealed that just 11% of respondents get to spend in excess of four hours per working day with their children. In Dublin the figure falls to 5%. The majority of respondents work five-day weekS and a quarter of respondents get up at 6am to get their children to childcare on time.
