Farmers increasing investments
The company, set up to help farmers to capitalise on the value of their farms for personal investment purposes, will hold meetings around the country next week to outline current and future investment opportunities in Ireland and overseas.
The seminars come on the back of the firm’s success in helping farmers to fund a $200 million (€157m) development of a championship golf course and construction of 550 condominiums in Florida.
Company director Malachy Mitchell said thousands of Irish farmers are leveraging land asset values to provide income and generate long-term wealth.
“Following the success of our recent investment in Florida, we have identified and structured a range of attractive investment opportunities in Ireland and Germany amongst others,” he said.
The seminars are at: Ashtown Park Hotel, Gorey (Monday); Blarney Park Hotel, Cork (Tuesday); South Court Hotel, Limerick (Wednesday); and Ardboyne Hotel, Navan (Thursday).
Farrelly and Mitchell specialises in helping farmers to evaluate their current position, establish clear future objectives and diversify into off-farm investment opportunities appropriate to their needs.
The company has built up a solid network of expertise in a range of investment markets, and has undertaken successful consultancy assignments in Ireland, Europe, Africa, South America and the US.
