German stocks down

GERMAN stocks dropped yesterday, led by BASF and Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) after the companies said third-quarter profit declined.

BASF, the world’s biggest chemical maker said third-quarter net income dropped 24%. The Dax fell 68.57 to 6,223.3.
