Topaz completes Statoil acquisition

TOPAZ Energy Group has announced the completion of its deal to acquire the retail and commercial business of Statoil Ireland from Statoil.

The announcement completes the transformation of Topaz into the largest fuels distribution business in Ireland — following its purchase of the retail and commercial fuels business of Shell on the island of Ireland, last year.

Topaz’s annual turnover will now be in the region of €2 billion.
