UTV has got mixed results from the latest RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research) listenership figures for radio stations in Britain.

The third-quarter figures highlighted a drop in market share for its local stations to 6.9% — down from its 8.2% share at the end of the second quarter of this year. Total market share for all of UTV’s British-based stations was down slightly at 2.9% for the quarter, from 3% in the second quarter.

The Belfast-based broadcaster owns 17 local stations in Britain. UTV’s national sports station talkSPORT grew its market share from 1.7% in the second quarter to 1.8%.
