Ryanair purchases $80m simulators

RYANAIR’s pilots will benefit from the purchase of 10 flight simulators from CAE Aviation in a deal worth over $80 million (€63m). The simulators will assist pilot training.

The CAE full-flight simulators replicate the cockpit of Ryanair’s Boeing 737-800 series fleet.

Ryanair plans to doubles in size from 42.5 million passengers this year to more than 80 million passengers in 2012.
