Buckley joins Freeman & Co

MICHAEL BUCKLEY, former chief executive of AIB, is joining the advisory board of Freeman & Co, a US-based company that specialises in financial services.

Mr Buckley, who left AIB in June last year, will help Freeman develop its European business, with a focus on transatlantic deals.

Freeman’s deals have so far tended to be valued at $20 million (€16m) to $200m (€158m), although it is starting to take on deals worth up to $1 billion (€797m).
