South-east seeks university

THE impact of having a university in the south-east is the subject of a series of breakfast briefings organised by IBEC in association with the American Chamber of Commerce and the South East Chambers of Commerce.

IBEC regional president Paul Nolan welcomed the Taoiseach’s announcement this week that the Government will shortly commission an education expert to examine the submission made by the Institute’s governing body this year seeking university designation.
