Waste services firm raises €1.6m

WASTE services company Advanced Manufacturing Control Systems (AMCS) has raised €1.6 million from investors including NCB Ventures, Mianach Venture Capital and Shannon Development.

The funds will help the Limerick company’s expansion into the British market and product development.

AMCS develops information systems for the waste industry and has a system for weighing waste on behalf of waste management companies and local authorities.
