Insurance jobs prove difficult to fill

ACCOUNTANTS and insurance executives are the hardest job to fill in services, according to the FÁS/ESRI employment and vacancies survey.

Site managers and quantity surveyors were the hardest jobs to fill in construction.

In industry it was engineers, technicians and managers while in retail, it was sales staff.

The survey said the number of vacancies across all sectors fell by 1% point to 14%.

Employer’s employment expectations have fallen 5% to minus 6%.
