Farm law guide gets warm welcome

FINE Gael agriculture and food spokesman Denis Naughten has welcomed the publication of a book by Labour Deputy Willie Penrose, which explains in practical terms the legal rights and responsibilities of farmers and landowners.

Mr Naughten said the book guides farmers in a straightforward manner through the law which now applies to farming.

He said the book deals with the legal issues surrounding all persons who enter a farm, be it visitor, recreational user or trespasser as well as topics such as boundary disputes.
