Swiftcall returns to Irish ownership

SWIFTCALL Ireland chiefs Tommy Tuite and Fergus Kernan have bought the telecoms group from its parent company KDDI.

The deal returns the company to Irish hands in a deal that it believed to be worth around €6 million.

Swiftcall has 60,000 residential customers, with a 33% share of the Irish call card market.
