IRISH Exporters Association president, Joe Lynch said doing business in Britain and the US presented risks to the company’s bottom line because of currency fluctuations.

“Irish-owned companies are particularly vulnerable since they currently export 48% of their output to Britain, 10% to the US and 12% to other markets outside of the eurozone.”

A series of workshops was launched by Minister for Trade and Commerce, Michael Ahern to explore international trade issues.
