Met Éireann is predicting extremely windy or stormy weather with strong to gale force winds developing, and gusting 90km/h to 120km/h. Spells of heavy rain are also predicted.

Clearer, more showery weather is expected to develop overnight, however, and winds will moderate. Tomorrow is likely to be fresh and breezy with sunny spells and scattered showers.
